BSA-Wilderness First Aid

Saturday 8:00 am to 5pm and Sunday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Cost:  $155.00

BSA-Wilderness First Aid Basics is for back country camping where professional emergency care is more than 1 hour away.  This course combines classroom lecture, skills practice, and realistic scenarios to teach assessment, basic and advanced first aid skills and decision making, extended care and transport. A current CPR/AED card along with the BSA-WFA is required for all High Adventure Bases including Philmont, Sea Base, Northern Tier and Summit.  Minimum required for the course:  6.  Maximum required:  15

Basic First Aid/CPR is covered as part of this class.  Dress for indoor and outdoor activities.  All course materials will be provided.

Masks and social distancing will be enforced for this training.  In addition to pen and paper, please bring a sack lunch, drinks and snacks.  Lunch will only be 30 minutes, so you will not be able to leave for lunch.
