Venturing Shoot n' Splash

Shoot N’ Splash Day is a purely fun activity in the spring that helps introduce a lot of different outdoor activities to Scouts in Venturing (and those who want to be)!

The event is on Saturday, April 24, 2021 and program runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at our Lost Pines Scout Reservation near Bastrop.

Your Venturing Crew can camp overnight on Friday and/or Saturday; you just need to contact the council office to make your own camping arrangements.

The cost is $25 per youth; there is no charge for adult leaders.

If you have any questions, please contact Staci Kilpatrick at

We will be following strict Covid Protocols so everyone must wear a face mask (Not a face shield or thin buff/neck gator) - stay socially distant, we will do a health check at check in and if you do not "pass the check in" you will have to go home. (Flu like symptoms, fever of 101 or greater, be exposed in the last 14 days to someone Covid positive), and we will continue our increased cleaning of the restrooms and program supplies.  See below for required forms (signed by parent/guardian) to bring with you.
