STEM 2017 Registration
Dates of STEM Campout: Sept 22nd to 24th, 2017
Location: Lost Pines Scout Reservation  (Directions: Google | Yahoo)

 

Each Scout can attend one merit badge or award class during the following three times slots: Saturday Morning, Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning.  Please note that some merit badges classes have a Part 1 and Part 2.  It is highly suggested that youth take both the part 1 and part 2 of one merit badge and then a second merit badge during the weekend.   The class options are as listed below

Reminders:
Bring completed Medical forms (Parts A & B) to the camp.
• We need Medics on site.
• Please plan to attend for the whole weekend.

• Please note that not all of the merit badges can be completed during the course of the weekend.  Astronomy, Weather and NOVA Shoot all have requirements that can not be completed during the weekend and youth are welcome to complete the remaining requirements before or after the event.   Merit Badge instructors can sign off on merit badge work completed outside of class as long as youth can show proof of work and follow the merit badge requirements (if it says "write an essay", show the essay to the instructor, while if it says "tell your instructor", make sure to tell the instructor either in person or via phone with your parents present.)

• Campsites will be assigned “first come, first serve” at check-in. 

• Troop shall provide at least two adults for each 8 boys attending STEM.  For youth not attending with a troop, a parent or guardian must be present at the Weekend.  Provisional Scouts are NOT allowed.

• Registration includes 3 meals on Saturday, 1 breakfast on Sunday, meeting spaces/tables/chairs/restrooms, and a STEM patch

• Adults spending the night need current Youth Protection Training (YPT).

Cancellation Policy

All refunds must be process through the online refund request form (please do not email us and assume that you have requested a refund.) 2. As outlined by the refund policy, refunds will be subject to a 25% processing fee. 3. Refunds must be requested within 10 days after the event (before or during is fine).
